Hare Street Community Primary
School & Nursery
This web site has been produced to give parents, carers and the wider community an opportunity to find out a little bit more about Hare Street School.
Hare Street Infant and Junior Schools were opened in the 1950’s to serve the Hare Street and town centre area of Harlow New Town.
In the Spring Term of 2001 Hare Street Infant and Junior Schools were amalgamated to form Hare Street Community Primary School and Nursery.
At Hare Street Community Primary school and Nursery we aim to provide a safe, caring, enjoyable and stimulating environment in which all members of our school community are able to develop and realise their full potential.
The school site is spacious and attractive with many large trees and a copse as well as a good size field with a variety of shrubs and flowers. The field is landscaped and this provides interesting play and learning areas. There are a number of outdoor playground areas for the children to use during their break and lunchtimes as well as for outdoor P.E. The Early Years children have their own separate outdoor play areas and gardens. All areas benefit from high security fencing.
